Meet Our Leadership Team

In the Rotary Club of Paeroa, we have a Board of Directors who oversee all decisions to do with the club.

Kelvin Ricketts - President

Kelvin has been a Rotarian since 1991, but joined the Paeroa club in 2023. Outside of Rotary, Kelvin is an Officer & Fundraising Manager for Life Education Trust Counties Manukau, a loving husband and caregiver to his granddaughter.

Katie McLaren - Immediate Past President, Public Image, Youth Director

Katie joined the Club in March of 2021 and jumped straight on to the Board of Directors and the Event's Committee and was President from 2023-2025. Outside of Rotary she is a Pinup extraordinaire and loves anything vintage. Katie also has a degree in Marine Science and loves spending her time over the summer either in or on the water.

Lloyd Davies - Secretary

Lloyd has been a member of Paeroa Rotary since May of 2022. When he moved to Paeroa he purchased a cosy home in Longridge Estate and hasn't looked back since. He currently works as a literacy director, writer, editor and proofreader and also acts as a local JP.

Ivan Petch - Treasurer

Ivan has been a staple of the Paeroa community for the last 50 plus years as a local veterinarian. He joined Paeroa Rotary in 1985 and has been a constant in the club serving many roles. Outside of Rotary, Ivan has served many roles within the community.

Margarete Ford - Foundation

Margarete has been part of the Club since 2021 and has been instrumental in driving our Rotary fundraising events and promoting the club. She used to own Paeroa Harcourts and since selling has had a few different endeavors such as working at the info centre, running a B&B and working selling antiques.

Matt Bowie - Membership

Matt is a loving husband and father of four! He lives on a lifestyle block with his family and is working towards self-sustainability, with endeavors into permaculture and shared resources. Matt joined the club in 2021 and has been a great source of fresh ideas.
